Description

S4 Operation

Participants learn proper and safety conscious operation of the S4 punching machine.

They acquire basic machine operating skills:

  • Switching on and starting the machine
  • Loading and securing programs
  • Correcting existing programs
  • Operating the punching machine with manual actions
  • Identifying simple errors and malfunctions

  • System presentation with main parts illustration
  • Presentation of the system documentation
  • The main push button station
  • HMI FACE Console (Salvagnini Console, Syscon Shell)
  • Heating system of the electrical cabinet and hydrodynamic pressure generator
  • Movements with manual commands
  • Set up of the head and description of punching tools
  • System modes
    • Load and no load production
    • Manual or automatic feeding
    • Stacking parts or running in line
  • Checking and setting of double sheet device
  • Start production
  • Access inside the protected areas of the system
  • Stop or suspend production and restart
  • Shut down of the system
  • Modify, compile and simulate a program
